Unhoused Committee January update

Concrete steps when concerned about unhoused in your area

Citizens who are concerned about unhoused in close proximity to their residences, starting fires and other issues. What can you do in that case?

A paper trail is the clearest way to bring services' attention to your unhoused neighbors.

We want to check if the Los Angeles Homelessness Services Authority (LAHSA) has a case open for that person and is working on helping them get housing and the other services they need. This process may take a very long time, as each case is unique and city services are especially slammed at the moment.
