From the desk of the LA Metro Budget Comments project
Agency finances are in better shape than a year ago at this time, thanks to the accelerated roll out of COVID-19 vaccinations and an anticipated gradual, but steady economic recovery, and the continuation of federal stimulus for public transportation via the Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act.
This year’s proposed budget focuses on restoring service to pre-pandemic levels and reflects our intent to receive your comments with a transparent and comprehensive process where everyone’s voice matters.

With everyone’s safety in mind, we will receive comments on the proposed budget outreach via email, virtual Public Hearing and Board Meeting, before the Metro Board of Director takes action on the annual budget.
