Landlords can get higher rents, signing bonuses through American Rescue Plan’s Emergency Housing Voucher Program
LA landlords who want to participate in the American Rescue Plan’s Emergency Housing Voucher Program (EHV) can get a $2,500 signing bonus (subject to fund availability) and free property listings.
Security deposits of up to 2 months rent are guaranteed. Rents available through this program are as follows:
SRO: $1,231 (single room occupancy with shared bathroom)
Studio: $1,642
1 bedroom: $1,926
2 bedrooms: $2,469
3 bedrooms: $3,282
4 bedrooms: $3,578
The Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles (HACLA) administers this program locally. Get started by listing your available units, and asking any questions, at EHV.IP@HACLA.org.
EHV Program voucher holders will contact the property owner/manager to view the unit and provide paperwork to be completed and submitted to the HACLA to begin the lease up process.
